Ergo was my dual purpose police service dog who died in August, 1991.

Ergo was a titled Schutzhund III German Shepherd import from Germany.

In 1984, Ergo and I attended PSP America and trained under the direction of Matthew Devaney, now with the National Canine Training Facility for the United States Border Patrol in El Paso, Texas.

At the time of Ergo's death, I was searching for a business name for my canine training center. Kasseburg Canine Training Center was chosen in Ergo aus Kasseburg's honor for seven years of dedication, loyalty and companionship.
